Today… September 19th, 2011

Outside my window… the Spider lilies next to the mailbox are blooming. :)

I am thinking… about Sukkot, I can't wait for it to get here!!

I am thankful for… my dad's job.

I am wearing… my pajamas!

I am reading… (again) Tirzah by Lucille Travis.

I am creating… a baby blanket for my new cousin Bennett. :)

One of my favorite things… slipping into cold sheets on a warm evening.

For education this week… doing the norm!

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning … how to get all the components of dinner ready at the same time.

A spiritual lesson I’m learning… to make my desire match that of my Heavenly Father.

A godly character trait I plan to work on… kindness ("chesed" in Hebrew)

Scripture I am memorizing… Psalm 59:17 "To you, my strength, I will sing praises. For Elohim is my high tower, the Elohim of my mercy."

I am praying for… the peace (shalom) of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem).

For the rest of the week… I will be sewing a skirt.

T-shirt Refashion

So I was looking at some old clothes the other day, and thought, "Why not make a cute pillow out of one of my  shirts?" So, I decided to make a cute pillow out of one of my shirts! (Do you like my repetitiveness?) So here is the process I went through! ♥

The shirt before I cut it up. :)

I pinned the bottom.

And sewed it up.

After I sewed the top seam, I filled it with this stuff. (Works great by the way!)

And here is the finished product! I just love the pocket! :) Happy sewing! ♥

My rainy day fun!

 Both today and yesterday were perfect rainy days. In the lower 70's, with a nice breeze, perfect! Thank you Yahweh for watering our thirsty little town. :) Here are a few lovelies that I happened to capture... ♥ Enjoy them for me.
