Spider lilies...

When I was outside working in the yard the other day, I noticed these Spider lilies were starting to come up on our front strip of lawn. They come up every year in the fall, and are probably one of my most favorite flowers! :) So delicate and bright! What is your favorite flower?

Outside my window… the Spider lilies next to the mailbox are blooming. :)

I am thinking… about Sukkot, I can't wait for it to get here!!

I am thankful for… my dad's job.

I am wearing… my pajamas!

I am reading… (again) Tirzah by Lucille Travis.

I am creating… a baby blanket for my new cousin Bennett. :)

One of my favorite things… slipping into cold sheets on a warm evening.

For education this week… doing the norm!

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning … how to get all the components of dinner ready at the same time.

A spiritual lesson I’m learning… to make my desire match that of my Heavenly Father.

A godly character trait I plan to work on… kindness ("chesed" in Hebrew)

Scripture I am memorizing… Psalm 59:17 "To you, my strength, I will sing praises. For Elohim is my high tower, the Elohim of my mercy."

I am praying for… the peace (shalom) of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem).

For the rest of the week… I will be sewing a skirt.
