hey guys this is Alivia aka Lizzy dawn. i like your blog, this is the first time Ive been too it I'm afraid. we met at the conferences in Texas in December and in January. i had a nice long comment written but somehow i lost it. so Ill just write a shorter one. i liked and agree about the music. i cant say i dont listen to any other music but i do agree. you never know half the time about what they are really saying. i grew up on blue grass because my grandfather played it and i loved it, he is gone now and i miss him playing it. we used to set around as small kids and listen to him play. but we have to be careful we are suppossed to be set apart. I for one dont really listen to "christian" music, so much of it sound much like our modern rock, like the band skillet. i am not saying anything bad about them i have heard their music and cant say its bad, but i cant understand them so i have chossen not to listen just to be safe. i listen to mostly messianic singers such as jimmy black, paul wilbur and others. and i know a few including jimmy and i love their music i listen to it almost daily! hope this is some encouragement to those who have doubts about the world of christian music, your not alone! lizzy dawn
