Oatmeal Crackers









Some of our good friends shared this recipe with us, and we just thought you might like it too, ENJOY!!!

Oatmeal Cracker Recipe:

4 cups rolled oats(good old quaker oats)
3/4 teaspoons sea salt
1 cup water or milk
4 Tablespoons honey
1/2 cup oil(we use olive oil)
1 cup additional oats(for work surface, will be folded into dough)

#1. grind 5 cups of oats (in blender or coffee grinder)set 1 cup aside

#2. in a large bowl combine salt and  4 cups ground oats

#3. combine water, honey, and oil, pour into 4 cups oats
      (will be a little loose, let sit for a couple minutes)

#4. dust work surface with your 1 cup additional oat flour, pour out
      dough, roll out dough to about 1/8 of an inch thick, score, transfer to cookie
      sheet and prick with a fork(can also roll onto parchment paper)

#5. bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until  golden brown (cook times may vary a little, depending
     on oven and altitude) cool on wire racks
